As Program Associate for COMPASS, I support the team across all of our programs, with an emphasis on research in key areas for our work (including the most recent science on environmental issues and the science of science communication). My background is in coastal environmental science, with an emphasis on communication and policy. Prior to joining COMPASS, I served in AmeriCorps, developing and delivering informal science education programs, and received an M.E.M. from the Duke Nicholas School of the Environment with a certificate in Geospatial Analysis.
When I’m not delving into exciting things for COMPASS, I enjoy exploring (particularly parks, marine labs, and the coast), taking pictures, reading, conversing, and making things.
