Sacramento Luncheon Briefings

COMPASS sponsors Ocean Science Briefings in Sacramento to effectively communicate marine conservation science to policymakers and marine resource managers in California. Each session features leading marine scientists and other researchers. By creating a venue for lively discussion among scientists, policymakers and managers, these presentations help expedite solutions to important marine conservation problems. These briefings are sponsored in partnership with the California State Library, which has a regional focus on ocean and coast, and addresses issues specific to California.
