Science Outreach Specialist Matt Wright organized a Communicating Science workshop for 24 marine geoscientists at the Consortium for Ocean Leadership's Marine GeoScientists Leadership Symposium in Washington, DC.  In the workshop, participants learned to distill their science into key message points using a tool called the Message Box, and used this message as the foundation for a networking activity designed to foster interdisciplinary collaborations between fellow participants.
