Communications Director Nancy Baron led a full-day science communications workshop for scientists in the Center for Applied Conservation Research and Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia. The workshop in Vancouver was organized by UBC scientist Peter Arcese for 25 scientists. The training was preceded by an evening public lecture on the Risks and Rewards of Communicating Science (see poster below), which was attended by about 110 people.
