Natural Capital Project
The Natural Capital project is an academic and nonprofit collaboration tackling the challenge of how to calculate the value that nature provides so people can do a
better job of integrating the environment into economic calculations.
This spring, COMPASS experimented with new training formats and materials when Director Mary Ruckelshaus invited us to help lead their spring scientific meeting. More than 40 collaborators came together from Stanford University, University of Minnesota, University of Vermont, The Nature Conservacy and WWF. For the first time in a single training, COMPASS integrated all of our focal strengths, from facilitating science synthesis to communication coaching for journalist and policy audiences, to introducing social media.
You can find The Natural Capital Project on Facebook or Twitter, and read more about them on their website.
