The workshop aimed to establish what information is available to determine the impacts of offshore aquaculture on ecosystem functioning, and to identify unresolved ecological effects of scaling up offshore production. Additionally, the group outlined research priorities and resource needs, along with identifying future collaborations and opportunities to address these considerations.
